
A6 uses Stripe for payment processing. Stripe is a payment processor and merchant account. In order to accept online donations, charge for event registrations, or accept form payments, you'll need to setup a Stripe account.
The account is free to setup and maintain. Stripe will deduct a small processing fee for each transaction. Stripe currently charges 2.9% + $0.30 cents for credit card transactions and $0.25 cents for ACH transactions.
Every few days Stripe will transfer your balance to your bank account.
To unlock the power of A6 Church + stripe follow these steps:
- Navigate to Settings. You'll find settings in the menu at the top right of your screen.
- Click Integrations in the menu on the left side of the page.
- Click Connect on the Stripe integration.
From here you'll be taken to Stripe's website.
- If you already have a Stripe account just simply log into your existing account and click Connect my Stripe account when asked if you'd like to connect your Stripe account to A6 Technologies.
- If you do not have a Stripe account just follow the guided steps to create your account. During this process you will need your church's bank account number, bank routing number, and employer identification number (EIN). After creating your Stripe account you'll be prompted to connect your Stripe account to A6 Technologies. Simply click Connect my Stripe account.
You'll now be redirected to your A6 church account and you should see your Stripe integration Connected. Congratulations! You're now ready to accept credit/debit card and bank account payments for online giving, event registrations, and form payments!
